This Writer’s Journey

Today I will write the epilogue of my novel as I get ready to fly to the Realm Makers Conference in St. Louis, Missouri.

I have always planned to self-publish, but this year I decided to pitch my novel to a couple of agents at the conference. With my history of skipping over traditional publishing workshops and teachings, I’m trying to press down the feelings of imposter syndrome.

This is why I am so thankful to God for my friends and family who support, encourage, and pray for me.

I will be asking for people to like, follow, and subscribe to this website and to my Facebook page that I will create next. Feel free to ignore my invitation if this is not your thing. But if you’re curious about my writing, or if you are a writer and would like to support each other, please know I greatly appreciate you.

Here is my elevator pitch for my novel, currently titled The Journey Gardener: Outside the Gate.

When one girl with faith to change the world crosses paths with one boy just trying to survive it, will she lose hope or will he find it before her journey ends.

Thanks for reading,

Sandy Blackburn
